A few weeks ago a consortium of twenty-two life scientists and doctors stirred up quite some controversy, at least online, challenging conventional virological science. It accused the very first paper on PCR testing for Covid-19, written last January by the group led by German top-virologist Christian Drosten[1], of containing "10 major scientific fatal flaws", leading to "false positive results". A group calling itself "An International Consortium of Scientists in Life Sciences (ICSLS)", assembled just for this occasion, has posted a "Review Report" online.[2], urging the journal Euro Surveillance to retract the "Corman/Drosten paper". Some on this list of "experts" know a lot about PCR tests, some most definitely do not (by their own admission) and some even deny the very existence of viruses.[2a] Rumor has it that a million visitors viewed this website in only a matter of weeks.
